me and my river: camping where cedar creek meets the santiam sometimes feels more like home than my actual home in the valley. it’s clear water and big mossy rocks that warm up in the sun and the parts that are deep enough to jump into and your feet don’t touch the bottom. at the end of the day i nestled into my hammock cocoon and slept hard, until i was woken up in the morning by rolling thunder and the ever present passing of the santiam waters.
Beverly Beach, OR // July 2014
things have been sad and weird lately but I bought a bunch of crop tops so I guess that’s where I’m at
dressed up like a young republican today
snapshots of the last month or so. my life has been busier than i can ever remember: everything a blur of band practice and new friends and shows and bars and pretty things. i feel lucky and alive and full and tired.
273/365 a minimal account of the selfie taking at my bday party
the picture of ali and aaron is so beautiful i can’t stop looking at it
I hung out with Ponderosa & Thyme on Saturday for their spring floral workshop and it was a delight and a joy forever. Expect a write-up and more photos soon! In the meantime, i’m recovering from a month of weariness and wonderful things and people. Spent the day running over spring snow in the Cascades, postholing in up to my knees. I’ll sleep some day, probably.
